Description
English: Close-up of a Snakefly, cf. Xanthostigma xanthostigma, male specimen. (The light-yellow wing mark with a transverse vein was used here as a characteristic to identify the species.) Location: Lower Saxony, northern Germany (under oak tree).
Deutsch: Nahaufnahme wohl einer Gelbgezeichneten Kamelhalsfliege (cf. Xanthostigma xanthostigma), Männchen. Als bestimmungsrelevantes Merkmal wurde hier das hellgelbe Flügelmal mit Querader herangezogen. Das Tier wurde unter einer älteren Eiche angetroffen.
