Description
English: This aerial photo shows the progress construction crews are making on the new bridges over the Yadkin River.

They are completing work now on the surface of the I-85 North bridge over the river, which NCDOT plans to open to traffic by May.

From the bottom to the photo to the top, you will see the Wil-Cox Bridge, the U.S. 29/70 bridge, a railroad bridge, the existing Yadkin River bridge, the support columns for the new I-85 South bridge, the temporary work bridge and the new I-85 North bridge.
