Summary[edit]

Description Orig. Flickr desc: Gen. Tomoyuki Yamashita of the Japanese Imperial Army in the Philippines surrendered on 02 September 1945 in this Home Economics building of the Kiangan Central School. He was then taken to Baguio City where his formal surrender was staged, tried for war crimes, and hanged in Los Banos in 1946. Nikon D40 (SWP-Kiangan LGU Consultative Meeting, May 2007).
