Description
English: Two of the four buildings in Yankton High School Historic District, located in the 600 block of Walnut Street in Yankton, South Dakota; seen from the northeast. In the right foreground is the former Yankton High School building, designed in Prairie School style and built in 1916. It now houses Walnut Village Assisted Living and Senior Apartments. In the left background is the former school auditorium, built in Art Deco style in 1927. The historic district is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
