Summary

[edit]
Description

Yellow-bellied marmots spend their summers raising young and preparing for hibernation through long alpine tundra winters in the mountains of Great Sand Dunes National Preserve. This marmot appears to smile while standing on a rocky summit at over 12,000 feet (3,657 m).
