Description

"Why her? Why me?", by Erik Pevernagie, oil on cardboard, 66 x 88 cm

Nobody knew there was impending danger. There was no healthcare whistle-blower who had given any alert.

Since Aids has done its dirty work aids-stricken people have been asking why they have been victims of the devastating virus epidemic. “Why her?”, “Why me?”

Disease and death lie in wait on the road of love. Giving hope to people is very well. But we cannot live on hope. Medical researchers should expedite matters. In the meantime, is marriage the only “life insurance”?
