Description
English: Zanatlijski dom

BRITANSKI TRG 5 / PANTOVČAK 3, Zagreb, Croatia View from across street with fountain in foreground.

The "Craftsman's House" was built by project architect Otto Goldscheider the construction sub-company Hönigsberg i Deutsch in 1909-11. The land was purchased at the then Pejačević Square and Pantovčak. The craftsman's home forms the corner of Britanski trg and Pantovčak. It was designed as two three-story rental houses with two apartments per floor. The construction documentation shows it was managed as one building. The craftsman's home is an example of late Secession rental residential architecture of high-quality functional and design solutions of Zagreb's architectural heritage.
