Description
English: View of the area around the Gedempte Slaak, which was hit by the German bombardment of 14 May 1940, the center of the city was largely destroyed as a result of the bombardment. On the left Hoge Boezem with the Koninginnekerk further on and on the right the building of De Voorrox. From the south. From the Oostplein. Year: 1940.
Nederlands: Gezicht op de door het Duitse bombardement van 14 mei 1940 getroffen omgeving van de Gedempte Slaak, als gevolg van het bombardement is het centrum van de stad grotendeels verwoest. Links Hoge Boezem met verderop de Koninginnekerk en rechts het gebouw van De Voorwaarts. Uit het zuiden. Vanaf het Oostplein. Jaar: 1940.
