Description
English: Accordingly to the Zimmerman-Traxler model, E-enolates lead to the formation of anti products. The transition state (I), corresponding to the anti product, does not show significative steric hyndrance, while transition state (II), corresponding to the syn product, shows unfavorable syn-pentane interaction. Thus, the favored product is anti.
Español: Según el modelo de Zimmerman-Traxler, los enolatos E conducen a la formación de productos anti. El estado de transición (I), correspondiente al producto anti no muestra interacciones estéricas significativas, mientras que el estado de transición (II), correspondiente al producto syn muestra una interacción syn-pentano desfavorable.
