Description
English: Order of the Braid - one of the oldest, now extinct, Austrian orders. The only existing piece is exhibited in the Museum im Palais, Graz, Austria
Deutsch: Zopforden, einer der ältesten, jedoch nicht mehr existierenden, Orden Österreichs. Dieses Stück wurde um 1377 geschaffen und ist das einzig bekannte, noch existierende, Originalabzeichen des Ordens. Es ist in Silber getrieben, ziseliert, graviert und vergoldet. Der Reifen des Ordens kann über ein Scharnier geöffnet werden. Auf der Rückseite der Locke befindet sich eine Kapsel mit einem in Papier gefaltenen kastanienbraunen Haarbündel. Die Herkunft des Haarbündels ist unbekannt. Ausstellungsstück im Museum im Palais, Graz, Österreich
