Deutsch: Das Rote Schloss an der Beethovenstrasse in Zürich, Schweiz

Das Haus wurde 1991-1893 durch Heinrich Ernst (1846-1916) gebaut. Es besass eines der ersten Blockheizkraftwerke: Eine Dampfmaschine erzeugte Elektrizität, die Abwärme wurde zum Heizen genutzt.

Von 1842-1970 befand sich im Haus der Sitz des SIA, Schweizerische Ingenieure und Architekten. Der SIA zog anschliessend ins SIA-Hochhaus um.
