Español: El lienzo representa a Égica († 702/703), rey de los visigodos entre los años 680 y 687. Sucedió al rey Ervigio y fue sucedido a su vez por su hijo, el rey Witiza. El rey Égica aparece pisando una piel de leopardo, con el cetro en su mano derecha y descansando la mano izquierda sobre la empuñadura de la espada.
