Description
English: Interior replica from Galicia (then Crown land of the western or Cisleithanian part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire) paneled with carved and gilded oak wood. The room was established and furnished with Galician arts and crafts objects for the exposition of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Palais de la Décoration, du Mobilier et des Industries diverses (Palace of Décorative arts) at the Paris Exposition (1900), Esplanade des Invalides, Paris.
Français : Réplique d’un intérieur de Galicie (alors Kronland de la Cisleithanie, alors partie de l’Empire d’Autriche-Hongrie) avec boiseries de bois de chêne gravé et doré. Cette pièce fut aménagée et meublée pour l’exposition de l’Empire Austro-Hongrois au Palais de la Décoration, du Mobilier et des Industries diverses de l’Exposition Universelle (1900), Esplanade des Invalides, Paris.
