中文（臺灣）：韓戰爆發使美軍協防台灣，美軍與台灣的軍事合作日趨密切，並隨中美共同防禦條約的簽訂達到最高峰。圖為美軍駐韓第八軍團司令泰勤上將抵台訪問，自左至右分別為中美重要軍事將領：孫立人、泰勒、彭孟緝、蔡斯。
English: The outbreak of Korean War made the US Armed Forces to assist the defense of Taiwan. Military cooperation between the US troops and Taiwan became closer and closer, and reached its peak with the signing of Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty. This picture shows the visit by General Taylor, Eighth US Army Commander in Korea, to Taiwan. Key general officers from left to right: Sun Li-jen, Maxwell Taylor, Peng Meng-ji and William Chase.
