日本語: 本殿から10分。奥の院はひっそりと迎えてくれる。From Guntori Shrine, it is a 10-minute walk to the inner sanctuary. A 500 year old Katsura tree stands there, and all you can hear is the sound of the flowing stream, creating an ethereal world. When you wind left around the hall of the inner sanctuary, you will have to wade across the stream. From here, it is a 50-minute walk to Mount Mikuni (Mt. Shothozan), a place associated with Yamato Takeru Mikoto.
It is very dangerous to climb the mountain path without wading. This is because the approach to the mountain was taken by ancient Shugenja (mountain ascetic) ascenders. |
