Did Gandhiji write this?[edit]

Interesting photo. Can you clarify that Gandhiji wrote this himself or did a scribe translate his words and pen it down in Tamil? Coz., if Gandhiji wrote it himself, I think I should commend his handwriting(looks too mature for a beginner's/novice's). There again, am presuming that Gandhiji was a 'beginner' to Tamil writing. If I remember correctly, his autobiography says he learnt the Tamil script on the way to South Africa so he could teach it to the children of illiterate Tamil indentured labourers there, so he was no beginner. -- Arvind 00:08, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Though the handwriting is commendable for a beginner, it still looks like that of a person who's learnt the language after childhood. So, it's most likely himself (also based on Arvind's info above).
