@Geagea: Do you know by chance where is this inscription kept in Israel? Jaqeli 20:26, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I made years ago an article about Umm Lisan monastery or Umm Leison monastery. It was based on findings (inscription) by Israel Antiquities Authority. The inscription says: Her buried Ioane bishop of Portevi, Kartveli (Asomtavruli inscription). According to this your inscription from Birru-l Qutt (Bir el-Kut). You can check her P.42 ბირ ელ კატი. And უმ ლეზიონი her p.8 Geagea (talk) 22:17, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
And see this. Geagea (talk) 22:29, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
our file and this file are part of 4 inscriptions that founded in Bir el-Kut (near Bethlehem) our inscription is the most important. Together with the other findung in Umm Lisan it become clearer that the Georgian presence in Holy Land was much bigger that we thought. Geagea (talk) 23:43, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Geagea: This inscription is dated 430 and the other one kept in Fransiscan museum is dated 532. I am interested where exactly this inscription is kept? Or maybe its pieces are in Georgia or in Israel but where exactly are they kept? And how are the inscriptions from Umm Lisan monastery dated? Do we have a date of those inscriptions? Jaqeli 05:12, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I dont know what is the location of the inscription dated to 430. The inscription in Umm Lisan monastery dated to the end of the 5th century to the middle of the 6th century. But the Umm Lisan inscription mentioned the first time the word Karveli and it is the Oldest inscription mentiont it. Geagea (talk) 06:19, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Geagea: Are you now in Jerusalem? Is there any chance you could visit that Fransiscan museum to take a better pictures of those Georgian inscriptions? Jaqeli 06:25, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm the "not very active" user living in Jerusalem (: I don't have much information and I also don't have the pictures you are asking for, but it may be your lucky day, bcoz I'm a tour guide and am connected to about 450 local tour guides, which may have what you need. Let me check out with my friends and see how we can help here. Tamarah (talk) 22:13, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Tamarah. -- Geagea (talk) 08:06, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently, none of my colleges have the pictures you're looking for, but I've contacted the Israel Antiquities Authority, and am waiting for their response. Tamarah (talk) 10:58, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Tamarah: . As you live in Jerusalem maybe you can visit the actual place where these inscriptions are held? Because we need a person who can personally take a photos of those inscriptions. I don't know why you contacted your friends or the antiquities authorities as they won't have a high resolution images and we cannot have their commons-type of permission. I'd appreciate if you can visit the Fransiscan museum where these inscriptions are held. There were three but one is thought to be missing now. The second inscription is held in the very exhibition room and the third one which is the oldest Georgian inscription so far is held at the lapidarium. Jaqeli 12:06, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I sure can do it, but it'll only take me a couple of hours to get there, find a parking lot, walk in, find the inscriptions, take the photos, get back to my car and drive home, and with all do respect, I'm not sure I'm willing to put so much effort in something that is not my main interest, if you know what I mean. Therefore, I'm trying to be an assitance in other ways, like getting the photos from another source. Tamarah (talk) 21:26, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
