Hey @Richard Avery - Based on what did you identify this as being in Papua New Guinea (cf. diff)? The only info the uploader provided was "Maring lhouwa hunting for animals", with "Maring lhouwa" being a name or - as a quick search tells me - a reference to a Maring tribe in India. Unfortunately, I doubt that @Wednez Kemma will show up again to solve the mystery... Regards --Tilon3 (talk) 17:57, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PS: Further seach tells me there's not only the en:Maring Naga ethnic group, but also the en:Tsembaga Maring tribe a "group of horticulturists who live in the highlands of New Guinea", that "have been extensively studied by ethnographers, the foremost of which is Roy Rappaport". That said, the man in the image here looks more like someone of Polynesian origin and less like the more black-ish people of the Maring tribe shown here. --Tilon3 (talk) 18:14, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Tilon3, After 2 years and a heap of other edits I have know idea. I am not sure what you are eventually saying. Are you agreeing or uncertain? If you don't agree blank it. I won't mind, collaberation is the name of the game and life is too short to disagree about such trivialities. I don't randomly categorise images, if I don't have very good information I leave it blank. Have a nice day and good Karma to you. Richard Avery (talk) 20:18, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
