Whilst this is a good picture of a Land Rover, with good clarity & framing and having few background distractions, it is not thoroughly representative of the marque. What stands out most for me is the non-standard wheels. I took a quick look around the picture & found several non-standard parts -

  • top door hinges with mirrors (90/110/Defender)
  • checker-plate trim (aftermarket)
  • bumper lifting eyes (generally military)
  • absent panel between bumper & grille
  • wheels (aftermarket)
  • oversize tyres (7.50 as against 6.00)
  • tyre make/model (representative pattern though)
  • (possibly) indicators & placement of side-lights (were indicators still optional?)

I have no doubt that someone who knows the marque well would find more Alanthehat (talk) 20:07, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
