Sum might not be an appropriate statistic

As the charts for each country per person (not the whole country), is it sensible to sum them for the middle chart? The average (arithmetic mean) may be more appropriate.

Additionally, it's unclear whether the quantity is linearly proportional to the radius or area.

Thanks. I took the sum a+b+c+d since it's a bigger centerpiece than the average (a+b+c+d)/4. Quantities are proportional to areas of pie charts, and I've just made that explicit on the file description page itself. RCraig09 (talk) 13:11, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
