What do the colours on the holes signify? — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2A00:23C6:6712:A900:1945:71D0:5FA7:A58 (talk) 17:38, 20 October 2019 (UTC)[返信]

Blue: Some AT. Don't know what exactly. Red: µATX only. I don't quite know what brown is. I remember my current µATX motherboard explicitly stated that it does not have components on the bottom side where ATX cases have fixing points (though I don't know any that do). I do have an AOpen G325 µATX-only case and noted that it had a fixing point where my µATX board had one of two holes for the south bridge cooler's hooks, one of which is the left brown hole. I remember I only removed on of the fixing points from the case, so I don't know why there are two brown holes... --Redeemer (トーク) 21:53, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[返信]
This picture shows all screwmount positions in a case supporting AT and ATX formats and its compatible sub formats. Not every m/B uses all possible screws. The brown holes are used only in special midsize ATX formats. Skipped if the M/B is deeper. --Hans Haase (talk, express talk) 20:35, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[返信]
