Hi, this is Acanthodactylus longipes. A. aureus only occurs in a small stripe along the Atlantic coast. http://vipersgarden.at/cascade/species.php?cat=2&subcat=27&subcat3=Acanthodactylus+aureus
- Okay, I wasn't sure, so thank you. I did photograph a very similar specimen on the coast of Western Sahara, so I'll see if I can find that one as well.
