Was this coat of arms used by Philip IV of France (i.e. Philip I of Navarre)? Surtsicna (talk) 19:35, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not that I know of, the Coat of Arms was suppose to represent the Kings from Henry IV onwards (most of the House of Bourbon), until the French Revolution. Sodacan (talk) 19:53, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If that's true, French Wiki article Liste des monarques de France should be corrected; it uses this coat of arms for Louis X, John I, Philip V and Charles IV. It uses File:Grand Royal Coat of Arms of France & Navarre.svg for Henry IV and his successors. Surtsicna (talk) 20:06, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I was wrong with more info, this is probably what was used with the France Ancien and impaled shield rather than the double shield. Sodacan (talk) 09:27, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
