Coverage[edit]

Hi. I tried adding the Sylhet and Chittagong regions to this, as all Bengali linguists include them under Eastern Bengali, but it seems not to work when I do it. Can you please add them so that this page can be the most suitable for the Eastern Bengali Wikipedia page? Sylotoid (talk) 01:43, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. I have separate maps for Sylheti and Chittagonian but I see that they are not traditionally excluded from the Bangali grouping. I made this map a long time ago when I didn't totally have a grasp of the nature of the groupings. I will update this shortly, it shouldn't take me too long anyway.
