Bible...and key??[edit]

The caption in the english wikipedia page "bible", simply says something like, "A mini Bible". No explanation is given for the key. At first I thought, "maybe it was added for scale, so people will be able to see how small the miniature Bible is?" but it's not the best choice since A)it is an older style key no longer used in english speaking countries, except for aesthetic reasons, or historical hobbyist/amtique collector types, but the type of locks this type of key is designed for are no longer considered adequate for security purposes. And B) there is no "standard size" for keys of this type. They may range from an inch for little jewelry chests or diaries, to a foot long for the "key to the city" awards or other replicas designed for display purposes, a prop in a play/skit/film.

And, I clicked on Details for this image, and found a description/title saying something to do with "witchcraft tools".

Even if this key has nothing at all to do with "witchcraft" or the Wicca belief system, I think it deserves some sort of explanation in the caption. Or it should be cropped out. Or, maybe someone could just find a different "stock image" of a "miniature bible", or better yet, a "pocket Bible", which appears (although with no reliable scale it's difficult to know for sure) to be even more miniature than the so called miniature bible?

Or perhaps a mini/pocket bible with something in it for scale, or, a graphic added to the image, in the form of a scale bar, or scale meter, or scale indicator...you see them on maps, where is says "1 inch equals 100 miles" or something like that, or it will show a line with markings on it showing how much of the line equals a set unit of measurement. Like this: |____________| <--- = 3 inches or other variations of line length and standard units of measurement (distance).

It's just weird. Why is there a key there? If its used for witch craft, that's totally fine. Obviously, some witch craft rituals use the Bible and the two topics are related (witchcraft and the Bible), but have the caption explain that, if that's what it is. Let it say "a mini Bible and a key used in conjunction with the Bible in certain witch craft rituals" or something similar.

I won't edit it, because I don't know what the key is for. I'm not the one who put this image here, so I don't know where it came from or anything. Enigmato (talk) 19:04, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In the description, there is a link to a youtube video which describes, and then shows images of, various witch craft tools. However, neither the miniature Bible, nor the magical Key, nor both pictured together, were featured, in any combination, in the Youtube video.

Furthermore, the video description, much like the wiki media commons file description, contained yet another link...

I thought, I must have finally found the end of this devious wizards masterful maze of links cleverly hidden in the description sections of various types of media we encountered along this bumpy, wild ride! There were images, videos, it was insane!

(Oh, by the way, I just realized I forgot to mention, that this same person who brought this image of bible and key to wikiMedia commons is the same person who's youtube channel hosts the video.)

Unfortunately, the wizard, imbued with what I can only imagine must be only the purest forms of ancient wisdom of the arcane arts, has foiled once again my quest to solve the mystery of the key and what should be done about it's appearance in wikipedia page: Bible.

Continued...

When I clicked on the link in the youtube description, which was described as the channel owner's blog it brought me to a page explaining that "that blog no longer exists". Another dead end... Well, I'm stumped. I guess I'll just delete the whole "Bible" wikipedia article, delete all the backup copies from the database, and start again from scratch.
