Bridge over Maas?

There is something wrong with either the picture or the description. De Weerd is a peninsula in the Maas river on the east side of the river, so this bridge is either over the river Maas, connecting the east bank with the west bank (without even touching the Weerd), or it's from the Weerd over the Venlo harbour towards the east bank of the harbour.
