The photo was taken by an unknown citizen of Brzeg before ww2. The photo was later found and placed in the museum of the Piasts from Brzeg ("Brzeg castle"). This was reproduced in a book called "Brzeg na starej fotografii". The book was published in 1983 without © copyright note. And that means that I may scan a part of the book published before 1994 without copyright (PD-Polish).
I could ask the Museum for a permission but the Museum has got no rights to the photo (the only who has got is the (wo)man who took the picture and later left it).
