I can verify that the pages from Πριόβολος's book cite do indeed refer to the context in which the hanging was ordered, but could you please also add a paged reference to a source linking the photo to these events and verifying the concents of the inscription on the sign around the hanged man? - Ασμοδαίος Well, we are out of luck in this case. I had purchased a much better copy of this bundesarchiv photo, that now I dont have and simply read the sign. This is how I read the text there. - Ok, so look. There is actually no book that I own that verifies that this photo is linked to the execution of Manolakos, apart from combining the knowledge that i have from Kostopoulos and Priovolos. However, the sign on the EPON member states "This is how the sellout murderers of Manolakos are punished" . Priovolos states specifically that 5 EPON members where executed as reprisal for Manolakos murder, which , imo, verifies the fact that the photo is directly linked with the execution. Xandrinos in page 208 states that "Τα πτώματα εκτέθηκαν σε κοινή θέα και τοποθετήθηκε φρουρά ευζώνων στη μικρή πλατεία, ευθεία πρόκληση στο γόητρο του ΕΛΑΣ." Combining the information above, it seems to me certain that this photograph -- as well as this one -- depicts EAM members hanged in retaliation for Manolakos's murder, but could you please add the number of the page in Kostopoulos's book that states the photograph's *date*, which seems to be a necessary piece of information to draw the above conclusion?
