If you lookat the door behind the man's head you see this piece of paper attached. There are numbers visible (obviously this is some kind of calendar): 19 and 38, but on the image provided these numbers are mirrored, so obviously the entire photograph is the wrong way round (as if a mirror image had been photographed) If you check the respective Bundesarchiv database entry here: https://www.bild.bundesarchiv.de/archives/barchpic/search/_1411294257 you will find a remark in German "Bemerkungen-Material: Ursprünglich seitenverkehrt eingescannt" which roughly translates as "originally scanned wrong way round" and the corrected image. Should be done on wikimedia as well
