I'm afraid it's not entirely obvious what we're looking at here - has the warhead been detonated inside of a solid ring of metal held up by a series of vertical rods, with the shrapnel and hot gas starting to break through at the point of image capture ... or is that not quite unbroken ring and the rods surrounding it actually part of the exploding munition itself, caught in an unnatural looking state thanks to the time freezing effect of an ultra-high-speed photograph? 51.7.49.61 01:01, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
