bad description

[編輯]

This car is not a rear-entrance tonneau (although it may be possible to fit one) it is a runabout. A tonneau is a pair of back seats (none here!) which may be accessed as normal or through a door at the back of the car (i.e. a rear-entrance). See: Tonneau from the French for a tub or barrel, in the case of cars a tub with 2 seats built inside it.

Early Cadillacs, like this, could be bought with a detachable tonneau and this may be an example but the tonneau is not on the car in this picture. Eddaido (對話) 00:27, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[回覆]
