That may be. The evidence, however, this site is guilty. They write "... has been widely copied around the internet.". But the big auction houses write anything from the Internet. They use literature and experts (Christies, Bonhams). Also, "BBC Your Painting" says 1936. And National Maritime Museum Greenwitch says 1936 (in text). --Botaurus (talk) 19:19, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
