Can we identify the central five coats of arms? I have a feeling they are specific to a a given king and/or commander. The outer four coas are those of the Commonwealth (see w:Coat of arms of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 22:06, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[回复]

It's the coat of arms of Sweden and the Vasa family 83.249.96.61 01:05, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[回复]
Indeed they are, but note that the Folkung Lion (or Göta lion) is flawed (middle shield, 2nd and 3rd quarters). It is supposed to have a tail with two ends not three, and the background is wavy (blue-white) diagonally. Compare with Image:Sweden greater coat of arms.jpg and the insignia shown on en:Image:Gothia2.jpg. Though hard to tell from the original illustration, it is likely that the four subcoats (crowns and Göta lion) should have been separated by a golden cross like shown on en:Image:Gothia2.jpg.
