Ukraine[edit]

Hi! Is it possible to spread the dotted line in Ukraine to the entire territory of Ukraine? At least as of February 24, 2022, because Ded Moroz and Snegurochka are actually taboo in Ukraine. 92.253.215.7 22:15, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There's only written only about the city of Cherkasy. There are also various nonsenses, such as that in Czechia he was replaced by Christkind (it has always been there since Austria-Hungary). Jirka.h23 (talk) 16:02, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Kharkiv is also one city and probably also in the West of Ukraine..?) I cannot insert news with all the cities of Ukraine. Ded Moroz and Snegurochka in Ukraine is now a Soviet character who is not as well received as before. 1 [2] [3][4) 146.120.189.166 20:08, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
From what I understand, Saint Nicholas is celebrated on December 5th. This is not excluded with the celebration of Christmas (Ded Moroz, Santa Claus or Christkind) later. That something is not so well received, does not mean that it is not celebrated. But the striped area should probably be extended to the west of Ukraine as well. I don't know how it is in the west of Ukraine, only St. Nicholas is celebrated there or both?Jirka.h23 (talk) 14:43, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
