Identification

[edit]

@J Milburn: Hello. My comments also apply to File:Clitocybe rivulosa bottom.jpg. I do not think that this can be Clitocybe rivulosa as it does not show the frosted effect which is characteristic of that species and a few others such as C. phyllophila. There are other little hygrophanous Clitocybes which look like this such as C. agrestis. I think that the category should be "Unidentified Clitocybe". This mushroom is really fresh and young and the cap shows a hygrophanous effect, but not a frosted effect. I don't believe C. rivulosa is possible and I am changing the identification accordingly. Best wishes, Strobilomyces (talk) 16:38, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
