Some items in the 2007 image are not correct. At the top we have no cold air (blue arrows) but warm air. The change of temperature in the water is primary not in the vertical flow but at the top surface and the bottom. Furthermore, the flow at the outside of the vessel is normally in one direction in dependence of the outside temperature. In the 2007 image we have upward on the left side and downward on the right side. -- Con-struct (talk) 14:55, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
