I did a reverse image search and was not able to find any duplicates on the web. Sbearfi1 claims on my talk page that the image is their own. Do we have any evidence that contradicts this? Ping Ringerfan23 C.Fred -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:23, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Note I have moved the discussion to the File's Common's talk page. -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:23, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
IIRC, the uploader made a comment to the effect of "I'll upload an image that's more clearly from my phone camera," so that would seem to tie together. C.Fred (talk) 02:28, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have temporarily removed the CSD tag pending the outcome of this discussion. As I noted over on my Wikipedia talk page, it is getting late and we may need to wait until tomorrow to sort this out. But for now I have enough doubts to not be comfortable with speedy deletion. -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:36, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@ C.Fred, Ringerfan23 & Sbearfi1. OK it's time to wrap this up and move on. In the absence of any evidence of copyright infringement I think we need to assume good faith here and treat the image as presumptively the property of Sbearfil. This doesn't necessarily mean it belongs in the article. But that's an issue that can be sorted out on the article talk page. No more edit warring please. If anyone has anything they want to add either ping me to here or drop me a line on my talk page on the English Wikipedia. Happy editing... -Ad Orientem (talk) 17:59, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I took this pic on the last day of Dragon Con 2017 on the Monday of Labor Day weekend on his way out of the building. What more can I say? This is starting to feel vindictive. I only want to post a flattering pic. Sbearfi1 (talk) 02:29, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for the hastily tagging of deletion for the file. There's a long history on Wikipedia of users with single-interest subject edits coming in and uploading pictures that are usually copyright violations and claiming they own them when they don't. That you for posting the last comment. I admittedly am still new to Wiki and appreciate any advice you may have in the future. Sbearfi1 (talk) 07:00, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
