Licensing

The Flickr page for this file claims it's licensed CC-BY, but I don't see how that's possible if it's the work of a US Army officer in the course of their official duties. @Cliffmore: any thoughts about how to approach this? AleatoryPonderings (對話) 23:19, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Good point. Since the image could theoretically stand alone with the PD-USGov-Military-Army tag, is there a need for the CC-BY license? --Cliffmore (對話) 17:02, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

I don't think there's a need to include CC-BY but I'm reluctant to remove the license that FlickReviewR confirmed it under. I'm thinking the Defense Dept just set up their Flickr without consulting with a lawyer first. I'll post on Commons:Village pump/Copyright and see what people think.
