Labels should be on the side with the amount of pixels the standard name refers to[edit]

Currently all labels are on the horizontal, except for 2K. It would be more intuitive if they were on the side that the number refers to. So for 4K and 2K, the label should be on the horizontal side and for the *p resolutions on the vertical side.--88.73.59.104 23:11, 10 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree completely with above, these kind of images get people confused, the 720p and 1080p labels should be on the vertical sides and 2K/4K should be on the horizontal sides. Maybe use a stretched out "}" symbol to ease the viewing.

2K Resolution incorrect[edit]

The 2K resolution pictured here has the same number of vertical lines as 1080p (or at least close enough), which likely means they are using the DCI 2K resolution at 1.9:1, which is 2048x1080. 2K resolution at 16:9 is actually 2560x1440, so this graphic is misleading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.97.96.217 (talk • contribs) 15:00, 24 September 2015‎ (UTC)[reply]

This is not true, DCI 2K resolution is defined as 2048×1080. Please see en:2K resolution for more information. Lonaowna (talk) 11:29, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

“DVD” or “480p”?[edit]

Shouldn’t the “DVD” resolution rather be labeled 480p? That would be in keeping with the use of 1080p and 720p. —67.14.236.50 08:27, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
