Why is Taiwan colored yellow on the map? Not that I want to get into a discussion about the island's status here, but to draw a parallel the article on diplomatic missions of the Republic of China doesn't color all of mainland China black, despite the fact that the ROC officially (although I know they no longer pursue those claims) claims all of mainland China. Plus it seems particularly strange to include Taiwan in the PRC's territory on this map when a large reason why this article even exists is because the ROC and the PRC are competing for diplomatic recognition. This map gives the impression that the ROC doesn't exist, and while that may be the de jure conclusion according to a lot of people, it isn't really the de facto situation. 71.107.94.142 08:03, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
