This plot is at best exceedingly misleading for the later portion of the y axis. In figure 1 of the cited paper, error bars show that the uncertainty in data past age 47 (really past 45) is large enough that it should not be viewed without proper context. The figure seems to falsely imply that the risk goes down after the age of 45 (when even without error bars it doesn't go down until after 47). The figure should either be changed to include error bars, or should end at age 45. Also the figure seems to be just plain wrong if it is for data from this paper. Table 2 from the paper shows that the odds (without considering errors) increase until 47 and then do a slight oscillation until dropping to 0 at age 53.
