A few nitpicks for the next update. Add "(USA)" under American rovers to explicitly denote their country of origin. Yutu's total distance traversed is estimated to be 118.9 m [1], while Sojourner stands at just above 100 m [2], and so the order should be switched. No need for the note of estimation "(est.)" as most of the rovers depicted have only estimated distances to go by. --Shibo77 21:33, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done, but still need updated numbers for Opportunity and Curiosity. --Shibo77 23:37, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
(sorry for uploading over your image, it was a sort of edit conflict) I think NASA will periodically update this graphic as the rovers drive on. When, however, is the question. Huntster (t @ c) 23:55, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Scale[edit]

The distances travelled of the last 3 rovers don't seem to be to scale, despite the presence of a scale bar, presumably because the profile would not be visible otherwise. How about instead to indicate the distance to the back of each profile, perhaps with a tick to show the exact point? Cheers, cmɢʟee ⋅τaʟκ 10:57, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You're referring to Sojourner, Yutu and Yutu 2? I'm not quite understanding what you're wanting to do with this; it's taken directly from NASA without modification, and realistically showing their travel distance on the bar would result in them being barely visible. I'm not seeing a reason to try and modify things, especially since each successive upload would also have to be modified. Huntster (t @ c) 11:52, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Huntster. Yes, that's why I propose drawing the bar until the rear (instead of front) of each rover, so the rovers are still visible. Re uploads overridden, would it help if I redraw the entire image in SVG, then one can just move the functioning rovers along as needed? Cheers, cmɢʟee ⋅τaʟκ 13:05, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to try an SVG, that would be interesting. Though, if it's too difficult to update, again, I'm not sure it's worth the effort. Huntster (t @ c) 14:09, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
