The catenary is obviously for three-phase. There were only two standard gauge three-phase electrifications in Switzerland, Simplon tunnel Brig - Iselle, later extended to Brig - Sion, and Burgdorf - Thun. Catenary of Burgdorf - Thun was very different from what we see on the photo. But also looking at the few photos available from Brig, there is nowhere a catenary of such type. But I can find this type of catenary in Italy., which had a large three-phase electrification. The picture is probably from Italy. -- Gürbetaler (talk) 21:41, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The photo was now categoized Salbertrand and this seems to be correct. The building on the right still exists and can be seen in Google streetview. Openstreetmap building #145664509.--Gürbetaler (talk) 12:10, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
