This figure contains mistakes that should be corrected: 1. CTR1 and RTE1 are listed as receptors. They are not. 2. There are five ethylene receptors (ETR1, ETR2, ERS1, ERS2, EIN4), but the legend suggests there are three, or that there is one with three different names (slashes between gene names usually indicate that these are different names for the same gene). 3. The figure suggests that ethylene binds to a soluble cytosolic region of the receptor, but the binding site is actually in the transmembrane region of the receptor. 4. EIN2 is at the ER, not at the nuclear membrane as shown in the figure.
