France wasn't neutrral[编辑]

In the last version of the file france is showed as a neutral western country. It is an error. France wasn't neutral. It was, for a period, not active member of the NATO but it wasn't ever neutral from the 1945 to nowadays. Please someone amend the file. thx. --1felco (talk) 14:55, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[回复]

Portugal on the map but not listed in the text[编辑]

Portugal is on the map, but it is not not listed in the text. It should be listed among the Western-aligned countries. Peaceray (talk) 23:16, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[回复]

And Spain! What category would they go to? 83.165.97.204 00:00, 6 August 2014 (UTC) = User:Sobreira[回复]

"western-aligned"[编辑]

What does "neutral, but western-aligned" mean? Austria has written in its constitution a total perpetual neutrality like Switzerland and Liechtenstein. --80.108.153.176 21:02, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[回复]

I agree that it's arbitrary. How can France be placed in the same category as Austria? Withdraw from the joint-command is nothing like a constitutional entrenchment of neutrality. Ceaușescu had a substantially different relationship with Moscow to the other satellites and Romania is still coloured the same. France should be dark blue and all the democratic neutral countries should be coloured the same. Endrū Hejs (留言) 00:54, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[回复]

Cyprus & Malta[编辑]

A couple of days ago I contacted the original author of this very good map about the color for Cyprus. I just received the reply with recommendation to share it here as well. Now, I see and appreciate editor's logic (which is if I am correct not to mark formal (non)-alliance but predominant policy choices?), yet I still think Cyprus may be more appropriately colored as Non-Aligned country. In it's current form one would conclude that Cyprus was western aligned while Ireland and Sweden were not.--MirkoS18 (留言) 13:29, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[回复]
