Ceuta and Melilla *are* part of the EU, for one thing; and I'm not really sure that those facts are relevant for this kind of map. They are better suited for a map meant to illustrate the article about special territories of the EU, but not the one for the EU membership list. 's that okay, Hoshie? —Nightstallion (?) 15:23, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can see where you are coming from. It looks like I might have been too detailed with the European OCTs. However, Ceuta and Melilla aren't in Green on the map, they are red w/ Morocco. Should we draw a green pixel for them since they are in the EU? Also thinking it over, it's good the European OCTs (WSBA, ESBA, Jersey, Man, Guernsey) are in Green. Even though they aren't in the EU proper, they are reasonale close to it to make much difference. Hoshie 23:10, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I wouldn't be opposed to making them grey (Jersey and Guernsey aren't even on the map, though) and neither would I be opposed to marking Ceuta and Melilla in green; I'd welcome it if you changed the map to reflect those details. However, a problem with marking all OCT in purple is that the related world map would have a vast array of purple points in the Caribbean, for instance, and they simply wouldn't all fit in there... ;) —Nightstallion (?) 09:23, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ukraine

[edit]

I think that Ukraine should me marked as a "potential candidate country" read w:Ukraine and the European Union for more details. 62.179.33.222 14:48, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What about Switzerland? etc.

[edit]

1) I think Switzerland have rejected UE by referendum. I remember something like that. If it's correct, please correct the map. 2) Are you sure that UE rejected the application of Morocco? 3) Ukraine should be a potential candidate country, even if in long-term period.
