Shield[edit]

Stop updating the shield of the flag (created by the spoon dragon) to this INCORRECT, TACKY, CARTOONY eyesore, just because there was a flag on the History Museum's site that looked remotely similar to whatever on earth you have created!

The flag according to the Government of Canada's Evolution of the Canadian Red Ensign

The flag flown by the Royal Canadian Legion

Flag viewed at Casa Loma

THE SHIELD ON THE FLAG IS TAKEN FROM THE COAT OF ARMS OF 1921!!! This was when Canada changed both the de-facto flag and the Coat of Arms in the same year!

Quit incorrectly changing the flag to your monstrosity!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by NotAMonarchist (talk • contribs) 04:47, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Irish harp[edit]

Is the Irish harp used in the shield correct? The main thing that seems to be incorrect is the golden strings, which seems to contradict the shield on the coat of arms, which has white strings, and the blazon of the coat of arms, which has "a harp Or stringed Argent". What are the golden strings based on? --Thespoondragon (talk) 17:01, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Per a photo at the Canadian Museum of History, the harp was stringed white. I will be changing the file when i have a chance based on this photo. -Thespoondragon (talk) 03:08, 10 August 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by NotAMonarchist (talk • contribs) 09:44, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
