Just to comment:

• Yellow of this flag should be the same of File:Flag of Brazil.svg (ok, we know that it's problem since there is no official specification).

About the coat of arms, my interpretation about the colors:

• The bigger star should be gold; the gyronned star is green and yellow; and the border of the blue shield should be gold. (the same used by the formally coat of arms. The "Anexo n.8" use dot hatch for yellow and seems to use no hatch for gold).
• I keep the sky blue (as specified by law n. 5700).

The original file use a internal style sheet; if just the colors should be changed, please, use a text editor and change the hexadecimal code or the class (to keep the svg clean and readable). Giro720 (talk) 00:44, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
