Map[edit]

I have never seen New France going into Texas like this - nor do i think its possible that they have control over lands thousands of miles away from there forts - Its shows them in-control of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico. Plus it shows Rupert's land in possession of the French when in fact its was owned by the Hudson's Bay Company from 1670 to 1870 - (What year is this map suppose to be from? Rupert's Land is all the land where the rivers and watersheds drain too Hudson's Bay. The French, at their peak, did control the southern coast of the Bay. The HBC did compete there but didn't fully establish themselves and did not hold possession of the territory until the Treaty of Utrecht.-Remikipedia (talk) 01:21, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
