I did the required changes

Removed borders and zoomed on the image while keeping the subject in mind

It would also be possible to preserve all the information without zooming. This may be appropriate for photos, but for paintings I think it's essential to keep the artwork as a whole. I'm not sure what the community thinks, but perhaps there are uses for both. For another image I did this:
